Matthew is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) - a food and nutrition professional who has met strict educational and experiential standards set forth by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).

The RDN training and practical, real-world experience Matthew has received provides a unique perspective when examining clinical research and public health interventions and allows him to better translate basic science research into ideas that will positively impact human health and public policy.

Matthew’s nutrition philosophy governs the recommendations he provides and influences the direction of his research interests. It is not all encompassing, but does capture the areas he believes are of upmost importance. It is based on the latest evidence-based science and evolves as he experience and continue to learn from emerging science.
