Growing up in the soul food capital of America, South Louisiana, food has always been a major aspect of Matthew’s life. Research experiences as an undergrad fueled his desire to discover the link between food to overall health. Matthew is an Assistant Professor of Population Health and Disease Prevention at the University of California, Irvine.
